Who we are

Haus View Studios Limited provides property photography, video, drone footage, floor plans and virtual staging in the Midlands and across the UK. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at contact@hausviewstudios.com.

Cookies we use

This website sets no cookies of its own. It does not use cookies for logging in, shopping baskets or sessions, so there are no strictly necessary cookies to tell you about.

We do use Google Tag Manager to run advertising measurement for our Google Ads campaigns. Those tags set the following cookies, and only if you press Accept on the cookie banner:

• _gcl_au - Google Ads conversion linker. Records that you arrived from one of our adverts so a resulting enquiry can be attributed to it. First-party, expires after 90 days.
• _ga and _ga_<id> - Google Analytics. Distinguish one visitor from another so we can see which pages are useful. First-party, expire after 2 years.

Your choice, and how to change it

None of these cookies are essential, so we ask before setting any of them. Until you press Accept, Google’s tag runs in consent mode with everything denied: no cookies are set and nothing that identifies you is stored. It does send Google anonymous, cookieless pings that record that a page was viewed, so that aggregate advertising performance can be estimated without tracking anyone. Closing the banner, scrolling or browsing on does not count as agreement.

If you press Reject, the tag stays in that denied state and we will not ask again on this device. You can change your mind whenever you like: Cookie settings reopens the banner. Withdrawing consent stops any further use and clears those cookies. Your browser’s own settings also let you block or delete cookies from any site.

When you send us an enquiry

The booking form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the property address and the dates that suit you. We use it to reply to you and to arrange a shoot - that is the only thing it is used for, and we never sell it or use it for marketing lists.

Three other companies are involved in that form working:

• Resend delivers the enquiry to our inbox and sends you an acknowledgement, so your enquiry passes through their systems in transit.
• Google Places or Photon (Komoot) power the address suggestions. As you type an address, what you have typed so far is sent to whichever of those services is in use so it can suggest matches. Your name, email and phone number are never sent to them.

Our legal basis

For advertising and analytics cookies, our basis is your consent, which you give by pressing Accept and can withdraw at any time. For handling your enquiry, our basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch.

Where your data goes

Google LLC and Resend are based in the United States, so if you accept cookies, or when you send an enquiry, some data is transferred outside the UK. Those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can read Google’s privacy policy and Resend’s privacy policy for their side of it.

How long we keep things

If your enquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete it 12 months after we last heard from you.

If it does, the booking details and invoices are kept for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, because HMRC requires us to keep business records for that long.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@hausviewstudios.com and we will respond within one month.
